About our doctor
Dr Ong Lay Kei was born in Kuala Lumpur and was educated in Catholic High School, Petaling Jaya. She graduated from University of Malaya in 2013. Throughout her university studies, she was awarded the Dean’s List in 2011, Excellence Award in 2012, and MUDA Outstanding Student in 2013. She also obtained her Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2014.
Shortly after graduation, Dr. Ong served in the government healthcare facilities in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. During her 3 years of service in Hospital Tuanku Jaafar Seremban and Hospital Jelebu, she gains invaluable experience in various dental treatments and procedures.
After graduating, Dr Ong still continues to improve herself by attending training courses and conferences. She obtained her post-graduate certificate in Basic Comprehensive Orthodontic Course conducted by Dr Kenneth Lew in 2015 and Damon Master Programme conducted by Dr Chris Chang in 2017.
